A brighter fixture is not always the whole solution. Placement, glare, switching, and dimming influence how useful the lighting feels day to day.
Describe where you cook, read, work, or move through the space so the layout responds to real activities.
We install customer-supplied fixtures or help you select lighting supplied by North for the project.
Plan switches, dimmers, and smart controls around entrances, seating, and the way different lights will be used.
From a single replacement to new recessed or outdoor lighting, the scope follows your space and priorities.
We review the intended light locations, fixture requirements, and ceiling or wall conditions. Recessed lighting, outdoor fixtures, and high or sloped ceilings are supported within the agreed project.
Adding lights can involve new wiring and control locations. We plan access and the route, and include wall, paint, and insulation restoration needed for our electrical work in the project scope.
The light source, driver, and control need to work together. We review compatibility and available wiring so dimming or smart features match the selected fixtures.
We install and test the agreed lighting, demonstrate the controls, and remove replaced equipment. You receive result photos and written findings, with cleanup included.
Start with a free visit and assessment. We explain the recommended work and price before you approve it.
Explore familiar names in heating, cooling, and home comfort. Ask North about options for your system.
A free assessment helps connect your ideas with a practical installation.
Tell us which areas need better light and whether you have chosen fixtures. Include outdoor areas and difficult ceiling access.
Review locations, equipment, wiring, controls, restoration, and the proposed price before installation begins.
We complete the agreed work, check lighting and controls, and explain their use. North’s workmanship is covered by a two-year warranty.
Tell us which rooms or outdoor areas you want to improve.
Lighting changes how a room can be used. A kitchen may need light on the work surface rather than behind the person cooking. A living area may benefit from separately controlled lights instead of one bright setting. Outside, fixture placement should support the paths and entrances you actually use.
North Heat & Air provides lighting installation in Seattle and surrounding communities for houses, apartments, HOA properties, and commercial spaces. We install fixtures you supply or help you select equipment supplied by North. The visit and assessment are free, and you approve the scope and price before work begins.
Tell us where a room feels too dark, where reflections are distracting, and which existing switches are inconvenient. Share furniture and cabinet plans if the space is changing. New lighting points can be positioned around the finished layout rather than limited to the location of the old fixture.
We support fixture replacement, new locations, recessed lighting, outdoor lighting, dimmers, and smart controls. High and sloped ceilings can also be included. The proposal brings those choices together with wiring, access, and the work needed to support the selected fixtures.
Brightness and appearance are only part of fixture selection. If you want dimming, the light source and control must be compatible. An LED described as dimmable may still need a particular control type. We review the equipment information before installing the switch or dimmer.
Smart controls also need to fit the lighting and existing wiring. Explain whether you want simple wall operation, scheduled lighting, or another supported feature. We discuss the proposed arrangement and show you how the installed controls work, so normal use does not depend on guessing at the settings.
Adding a light in a new location may require access above the ceiling or through finished walls. Wiring distance, ceiling construction, and access affect the installation. A replacement in an existing location can have a different scope from a row of new recessed fixtures or an outdoor lighting project.
North handles wall and drywall, paint, and insulation restoration for our electrical work within the agreed project. We also remove and dispose of the equipment we replace. The proposal describes the installation and restoration together so you understand what the finished work includes.
If the fixture looks right but flickers, buzzes, or stops working, diagnosis may be the better starting point. Our lighting repair service includes free fault diagnosis, with repairs to equipment from all brands and installers. If you are replacing a ceiling light with a fan, see ceiling fan installation for the support and control considerations.
Our own professional technicians complete the required connections, testing, and instruction and provide result photos and written findings. North handles required permits and inspections for the project. Technicians wear shoe covers when entering your property and clean up after their work.
