Filters and Airflow
We check and service filters and assess airflow through the system. Restricted airflow can affect room comfort and cooling performance, so we explain any concern that needs further work.
Give your air conditioner the cleaning, checks, and performance testing it needs. North’s AC maintenance covers airflow, cooling components, drainage, and controls, with clear findings afterward.

A system can still cool while dirt builds up or drainage starts to struggle. Our maintenance visit combines cleaning and checks with a clear explanation of how your AC is performing.
We care for the filters, coils, drainage, and relevant electrical components as part of our standard maintenance process.
You receive photos and written findings that distinguish completed upkeep from any recommended repair.
We maintain equipment installed by North or another company and explain care appropriate to your system.
We work with houses, apartments, HOA properties, and commercial spaces throughout the same North service area.
Know which maintenance was completed, how your system is performing, and whether any additional work needs your approval.
We check and service filters and assess airflow through the system. Restricted airflow can affect room comfort and cooling performance, so we explain any concern that needs further work.
We clean the relevant heat-transfer surfaces and measure system performance. Your technician explains whether the equipment is operating as expected or needs a separate repair.
We check the drainage path, controls, and relevant electrical components. These checks help identify problems that may not be obvious from the thermostat reading alone.
We provide photos and written findings, explain the maintenance completed, and recommend appropriate follow-up. Any repair is explained and priced for your approval before work begins.
Mention warm air, ice, water, or unusual noise when booking. We can arrange the free diagnosis your system needs.
Explore familiar names in heating, cooling, and home comfort. Ask North about options for your system.
A maintenance visit should leave you knowing what was done and what your system needs.
Share the system type, any current concerns, and whether you want a maintenance visit or help with a fault.
We explain the care for your equipment and the price before starting. Our technician calls or messages before arriving.
After cleaning, inspection, and performance measurements, we explain the results. You receive photos, written findings, and guidance for ongoing care.
Contact North to plan the right care for your cooling system.
Routine air conditioner maintenance gives the parts you rarely see the attention they need. Filters collect debris, cooling surfaces get dirty, and the drain has to carry away moisture whenever the system is cooling. North Heat & Air combines inspection, cleaning, and performance measurements so you receive more than a statement that the unit turns on.
Our standard maintenance process includes filters, cleaning of relevant coils or heat-transfer surfaces, drainage checks, electrical components, and system-performance measurements. We adapt those tasks to the equipment in front of us. A central AC system, a heat pump, and a multi-zone ductless system have different components and care needs; the visit should reflect those differences.
We explain the maintenance price before work begins. Afterward, your technician provides photos and written findings showing what was done and any concerns discovered. If a repair is recommended, we describe the problem and quote the repair separately for approval. Routine upkeep does not mean authorizing unspecified repairs.
If the air conditioner is working and you want cleaning, inspection, and preventive care, maintenance is the right starting point. If it has stopped cooling, leaks water, develops ice, or behaves differently, tell us about that fault when contacting North. Our free assessment includes the visit and diagnosing the cause. You can then review the recommended AC repair before deciding.
Follow the equipment and filter manufacturer’s care instructions. Keep furniture away from supply vents and return grilles, and report changes in room comfort or system behavior. Filter care depends on the filter type, how much the system runs, and conditions in the property. A home with pets or ongoing renovation may need different attention from a lightly used space. We explain the relevant care for your equipment rather than giving every customer the same instruction.
Regular maintenance helps identify developing issues, supports normal operation, and gives you a useful record of the system’s condition. If testing reveals a concern, you receive a clear explanation of the next step.
Our North Care membership plans offer two seasonal maintenance visits, priority scheduling, and savings on qualifying HVAC repairs. The membership page explains the included standard filters, reports, reminders, and eligibility conditions. North Care Preferred adds conditional extended workmanship coverage for qualifying new North installations; that additional coverage is separate from our standard two-year workmanship warranty.
Financing at 0% APR for 12 months is available for North’s work, subject to credit approval and offer terms. You approve the maintenance price before work begins.
You do not need to have purchased your AC from North to use our maintenance service. Our own trained technicians service all brands, respect your property with shoe covers and cleanup, and explain findings in plain language. We serve Seattle, Everett, and surrounding communities for residential and commercial properties. Request AC maintenance and tell us about your equipment and any concerns you want checked.
Our standard process covers inspection, cleaning of relevant coils or heat-transfer surfaces, filters, drainage, electrical components, and system-performance measurements. We explain the work appropriate to your equipment and provide photos and written findings afterward.
No. The free assessment includes the visit and diagnosis of a fault. Maintenance is a separate service with a price explained before the work begins. North Care membership plans include scheduled maintenance under their published terms.
Yes. North services all brands, including systems installed by other contractors. Tell us the equipment type and any concerns when arranging the visit.
We explain what we found, why it matters, and the recommended repair price. You approve repair work before it begins. You also receive a written record of the findings.
Follow the maintenance schedule for your equipment and discuss its use and condition with us. North Care includes two seasonal visits under the membership terms. Filter attention may be needed between professional visits, depending on the filter and conditions in your property.
Maintenance includes checking system performance. If those checks identify a leak, a failed component, or another repair need, we explain the separate recommended work and its price before proceeding. We do not treat a refrigerant addition as a substitute for diagnosing a problem.
No service can promise that equipment will never fail. Maintenance supports normal operation and helps identify concerns, while the report gives you practical information for planning repairs or future replacement.
Visit North Care Membership for the current plans, included visits, qualifying repair discount, and Preferred eligibility. If your property has several systems or a multi-head mini-split, contact us to confirm the plan arrangement for that equipment.
